Coutu Trophy

(Phil) Coutu Trophy – Canadian Championship 10 Arrows

Donated in 1951 by the Coutu Funeral Home of Winnipeg

Once a season, each club allows their members to shoot only “10 Arrows” at a full fork of birds on the mens' poles.  The person who shoots the highest amount of points, in ten shots, wins the trophy.  It was open to both men and women’s clubs until 1969.  In 1970 the Turner Trophy was introduced and awarded to the woman who shoots of the most amount of points on the men’s pole with only “10 Arrows”.  Now the Coutu Trophy can now only be won by a man.
